Wij verbinden mens en natuur met elkaar

Beautiful, that neat lawn, trimmed hedge and weeded flower beds. All the twigs have been neatly removed and the fallen leaves have been cleaned up. It looks very tidy. But it's not very good for nature. It's actually quite strange: it looks natural, but it's not. Because many species of insects don't like neat grass and the blackbird and hedgehog don't like weeded flower beds. They actually prefer those twigs and leaves that have been removed, because that's where they find food and the leaves provide shelter and hibernation spots.

What if we start managing nature instead of controlling it? Suddenly, a new piece of nature emerges in a place where it hasn't had a chance before. You get life, color and dynamism. And that's exactly what we need, because biodiversity in the Netherlands is not doing well. By using your outdoor space in a different way, plants, insects, birds and animals get a new habitat and space for diversity is created.

That's where we come in to help.
Natuurijk beheer is an initiative of Donker Groep, one of the largest green companies in the Netherlands, and NLadviseurs, an ecological consultancy that helps strengthen nature in unexpected places. By combining the knowledge of both parties and applying it to the spaces that Donker Groep maintains for individuals, businesses and governments, a huge opportunity for biodiversity in the Netherlands is created. Because if we don't just mow, trim, weed, rake and blow, we let nature do more of the work.

At Natuurijk beheer, the development of biodiversity is the measure of success instead of appearance. This doesn't mean we let nature take its course; not every place offers the same opportunities, but there are always possibilities! Natuurijk beheer is tailor-made. That's why we start with an inventory, make plans and get to work. By continuously monitoring and adjusting, we work together with you and nature towards one goal: more biodiversity at your location.

And that's interesting for you. It gives you the opportunity to really do something good with your outdoor space. Because biodiversity is not only good for plants, insects and animals. It creates a healthy ecosystem that can better adapt to climate change. Moreover, you contribute to a green and natural living, working and living environment, which is important for the
